The Hispano Round Table is an umbrella organization or coalition composed of most the national and state Hispano or principally Hispano organizations and associations in the state of New Mexico such as the American GI Forum, MANA, Partido La Raza Unida, LULAC, CLER, the Taos Chamber, etc. and labor unions such as the AFL-CIO, AFSCME and others and is a broad based coalition which has been active in New Mexico for the past 12 years dealing with issues such as equality, parity, discrimination, civil rights, affirmative action, education, etc. relative to the Hispano community. We have a 11 member Board of Directors and have a general membership meeting once a month on the third Wednesday of each month at the César Chávez CC, Alburquerque, New Mexico.

In order to solicit membership, an organization simply writes a letter requesting membership in the Hispano Round Table via our mailing address (or electronic mail) at Post Office Box 27298, Alburquerque, New Mexico 87125, and the request is considered at the next general meeting of the organization. Each member organization is permitted 3 representatives and first year membership is set at the rate of $50.00 per year and membership is at the rate of $25.00 per year thereafter for member organizations to be in good standing. The Directory will provide more detailed membership, representation and attendance (for voting purposes) requirements.

Your organization should contain a large Hispano constituency.
